
The Foundation's mission is to create, form and establish an organization to help offset the costs of soccer camps, tournaments and the fees associated with joining soccer teams for underprivileged children; to solicit, collect and otherwise raise money for the benefit of those children who may otherwise be unable to attend soccer camps and tournaments; to aid and assist the needy children by providing financial assistance for the expenses of training, equipment, and other related expenses of competition; to disseminate information to the general public concerning the goals of the corporation; to stimulate community interest in the purpose of this corporation; to raise funds and solicit donations from interested individuals, charitable, educational and scientific organizations and foundations, and other interested organization and foundations, agencies, institution, associations and corporations and to administer and expend such funds in furtherance of the corporate goals and purpose; to aid, assist, cooperate, co-sponsor and otherwise engage in concerted action with private, governmental and other agencies and organizations with the same or similar objectives; to solicit, collect and otherwise raise money for the charitable and benevolent purpose of this corporation and to expend such monies in furtherance thereof and generally to aid, assist, and advance the welfare of underprivileged children by all available means and methods.
Richard J. LaGreca
President
Rich has spent over 30 years in the fields of finance and accounting and is a partner in the firm of La Greca & La Greca. During the last twelve years he has ventured into the area of real estate and is one of the owners of Performance 1 Realty, Fidelity Capital Mortgage Brokers and Performance Title Agency Inc. Rich oversees banking functions for the foundation in addition to research and fund raising. He resides in Bedford, NY. Rich is married and has two sons.
Denise LaGreca
Secretary
Denise is a former accounting professor, holds several degrees including an MBA from Long Island University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She has been a member of education committees for the New York State Society of CPAs and was Treasurer for the Board of Directors of a hotel association. She provides communication support for the foundation in addition to accounting functions. Denise is married to Richard for over 30 years and has two sons.
Robert MacKay
Director
Rob has almost 20 years experience in finance and accounting and is VicePresident & Controller of PepsiCo International. Rob is married and has two active soccer playing sons. He is a resident of Riverside, CT. He is also a founder of Youth Tennis San Diego, a not-for-profit foundation supporting financially deserving youth tennis players in the San Diego area. Rob is a graduate of the University of San Diego.
