Eastern FC, the Greenwich based Premier soccer club, captured TWO prestigious Regional Championships this past weekend at The US Club Soccer LaGrangeville, NY Tournament. A great weekend for Eastern FC.

 

The EFC U14 Boys (defending NATIONAL CHAMPIONS), Coached by Mr. Ray Franklin, finished Regional Runners-Up. Losing there final 4-1.

 

The EFC U14 Girls (defending REGIONAL CHAMPIONS), Coached by Mr. Jason Simone (GHS Girls Varsity Assistant Coach), successfully defended their title and became  Regional Champions. Winning the final 3-1 (S. Colligan, E. Myers, S. Browning) over the Boston Renegades. They will be heading to the NATIONAL Championships in Virginia Beach, VA July 26th - 29th.

 

The EFC U15 Girls, Coached by Mr. Jon Bradley (Darien Girls Varsity Coach), also won the tournament to become Regional Champions. Winning the final 2-1 (C. Marin (2)) over the Syracuse Blitz.  They too will be heading to the NATIONAL  Championships in Virginia Beach, VA July 26th - 29th.

 

A great achievement for the hard work and dedication these players put in through the year.
